To showcase 'The 7', BMW's highly anticipated new model, we brought the German team over to the UK to shoot a 2 minute launch film and 45 second TV commercial in collaboration with Serviceplan and TP Films, as well as renowned director Dan Di Felice.

This atmospheric campaign aims to showcase the car taking flight in a dramatic storm, which we enabled with an active airport location, a private jet, fire engines, and some very clever SFX.

Logistics and security were key for this campaign; the client needed our expert production knowledge to shoot on an active airport runway without a single member of the public seeing the new vehicle.

Contending with airports from around Europe, we scouted all over the UK to source a newly-built rural airport, yet to be open to the public. This Northern England location boasted both the right aesthetic and the practical needs for a highly secretive shoot with a crew of over 130 people.


We were able to secure complete private access to the whole interior of the airport as well as a vast runway and two aeroplane hangers for 3 days.

Working closely with an experienced security team and building strong relationships with airport staff and local authorities, we ensured that passers-by and press could not view the prototype car whilst the shoot was underway.

Due to the covert nature of this job, NDAs and zero-tolerance mobile phone and social media policies were of utmost importance for everyone involved.

Our connections with local police and councils also meant that we could get nearby roads closed off to any through-traffic, and security personnel and vehicles were able to surround the entire airport for maximum surveillance.


With a logistically complex job such as this, a team that works seamlessly together is vital. Working closely from recce to wrap with seriously strong creative, production and security teams meant that this high-end job could - quite literally - take off, without any obstacles.

The creative brief included dark and dramatic weather conditions; and alongside the director's signature cinematic, atmospheric style, this meant that a specialist SFX team was tasked to help brew up a storm for BMW, creating billowing clouds of smoke and harsh, lashing rain.


In order to achieve the desired aesthetic, we sourced and managed an abundance of high-spec equipment, including but not limited to: a Russian arm and airplane wing cameras, a private jet, tug vehicles, a fire engine (which was used to keep the runway soaked), drones, multiple rain rigs, LED lighting setups, wind fans and smoke tubes.

Produced alongside German motion production company Bee Film, 'Welcome to Life' is a promo for the new Porsche 718 Boxster T and 718 Cayman T.

The film follows a couple driving their respective Boxster and Cayman models around winding country roads to get off the grid and escape from the high-tech, high-stress daily grind of modern life. Shot across four different locations within the breathtaking Isle of Skye, this film highlights the raw beauty that Scotland can deliver for the ultimate showcase of driving footage for car fanatics and outdoors enthusiasts alike.

Ford | RadicalMedia | Josh & Xander

Our latest co-production with Radical Media for GTB and Ford EcoSport required acute attention to detail to accomplish every minute aspect. The commercial uses the familiar medium to tell one-of-a-kind, yet relatable, stories.

Accompanied by Elvis Costello and the Attractions, ‘Built for Your Next Step’ tells the tale behind each EcoSport, brought to life by the location of its destination. Unique stories are told in exemplary cinematic style, with the composition of each shot centered on mysterious pairs of feet stepping down from the Ford. The commercial then concludes in the reverse, as two individuals depart in their Ford, and it takes them away to new adventures.

Produced in Scotland during October 2017, the personal stories featured by the advert are bookended by imposing views of the car navigating Scottish country, ferries, and dramatic munros.
